4-Day SMED Kaizen @ Bausch+Lomb

Move beyond theory and into application with this rare, hands-on SMED Kaizen experience hosted at Bausch+Lomb in Greenville. Unlike traditional workshops, participants will work directly inside a live manufacturing environment applying SMED principles to real processes, real changeovers, and real operational challenges.

Guided by David Woods, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and one of South Carolina’s leading Lean practitioners, participants will learn how to reduce changeover time, eliminate wasted motion, improve equipment utilization, and increase operational flexibility while working alongside peers in a true Kaizen environment.

Over four immersive days, participants will work on an active manufacturing process at B+L, implement improvements, measure results, and present outcomes directly to site leadership. This is not simulation. This is hands-on operational improvement in action.
